skiá karankiozopaíchtis or shadow puppeteer is a greek monster that hides in the shadows. They reproduce through biting a human when they hit a certain point in their life they get urges to bite humans when they are around them. But even when they are fully turned, they still have most of their human memories. But they can lose them, by just forgetting or becoming what they call corrupt. A lot can be even friendly before and after the urges.

strengths:
The shadow puppeteers can travel through shadows and manipulate shadows at their will, even making weapons out of them.
More advanced SP might be able to make actual living shadow creatures to do their bidding. Also, they can heal themselves by using shadows to close up a wound, and humans by getting rid of the infection by taking it out with shadow or replacing the failing part of the organs an organ altogether.

weaknesses:
The brighter the area, the less power they have. But complete darkness, though better than being in a very well lit room, still makes them weak. Being very emotional is very dangerous since corruption is a thing.

Stages:

Humanish- they still have human bodies, but their skin is a light gray, their eyes are pure black with a purple pupil, and they usually have a liquefied shadowy clothes based off what they were wearing before being bitten,

Middle: This is the phase where they lose a lot more of their human form. Their skin becomes more of a darker gray, they become unhumanly tall and slender.

Full- Now to the final form. They are completely black, incredibly slender and tall.

CORRUPTION:

Corruption is what happens when a shadow puppeteer is either overly emotional. If in Humanish state or middle state, it could cause them to change form rapidly. A full one will act completely savage or sadisic, no matter how friendly they used to be.
